About GES

With a DIpl. Ing. title (Masters Degree) from the Applied Science University in Munich in Process Engineering, Tom got the foundation his success was based on. 

Starting his career in Switzerland in a paper mill as the senior works manager of the pulp preparation plant. 

In the next step Tom was employed as sales manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland for paper machine equipment and vacuum pumps.

In 2004 he moved to Western Australia and continued his career as state manager for a pump company.

The next role was as senior sales engineer for a international valve company.

From there he went to an appointment in the NT where he became the area manager for a privately owned pump distributor.

Personnel circumstances brought him back to Germany for 4 years where he worked as a process development manager for a German pump manufacturer.

Since 2021 Tom Schuler is back in Western Australia and works as the owner for German Engineered Solutions.
